# [](https://www.reddit.com/r/freelance_forhire/?f=flair_name%3A%22Hiring%22)Hey everyone,

We are looking to hire a dedicated Video Editor/Animator for a long-term collaboration on our YouTube Shorts channel. This isn't a "one-and-done" gig; we are looking for someone to become a core part of our production pipeline.

**The Role:** You will be creating 30–40 second "Why Guy" style shorts. We provide the voiceover; you handle the visuals.

**The Stack:**

* **AI Generation:** We provide you to our **Google AI Pro (Gemini)** plan so you have the best tools to generate character poses and backgrounds.
* **Animation:** You will use **After Effects** to turn static AI images into dynamic, engaging stories.
* **Editing:** Fast-paced cuts, sound effects, and captions.

**Frequency & Pay:**

* **Volume:** 3–4 videos per week.
* **Pay:** 5,000 NPR per project (standard 30–40s short).
* This is a consistent, year-round role. As the channel grows, there is significant room for budget increases.

**Reference Style:** If you can produce work at this level (or better), we want to talk to you:

**Requirements:**

* Expertise in **After Effects** (pacing, camera shakes, puppet pins, etc.).
* Ability to work with AI image tools to maintain character consistency.
* Reliable communication and the ability to hit 3-4 deadlines a week.

**To Apply:** Please send a DM with:

1. A link to your best motion graphics work (no long reels, please—just specific samples).
2. What software you are most proficient in.
3. Confirming you are available for a long-term, multi-video-per-week commitment.

Looking forward to seeing your work!
